Fine large size wicker table lamp. I carefully pulled the fabric away from the base and found a red Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company label on the bottom (see photo). I would leave it loose or glue the fabric back in place if the buyer wishes. The top has the original faded fabric with a hanging fringe. There are a number of large narrow vertical ovals woven into the stem – an unusual pattern. Four woven wooden crossbars hold the shade to the stem below the double socket. The lamp has the original cord. The buyer might have this replaced for safety reasons. A lovely and majestic lamp by the most famous of the wicker makers of the period! Circa: 1890. Dimensions: 27″ H x 19″ Diameter of shade. Condition: Lovely original honey colored patina. Original normally stained fabric. There is a small crack in the center support for the shade that is hidden. Price: $650.
