Lovely Sterling repousse vase made by the Stieff Silver Company, Baltimore, MD. It has a monogram on the bottom, the number “165″, “Stieff Sterling” and the hallmark indicating that it was made in 1922 (see photo). It has a rich deep repousse pattern featuring roses, flowers and leaves. It weighs a healthy 21+ troy ounces. A gorgeous fine quality sterling vase! Circa: 1920′s. Dimensions: 8.5″ H x 8″ Diameter. Condition: Because of it’s solid construction it doesn’t have the dents that so many older pieces have. The surface has been lightly polished in the past but much of the original patina remains.
