Magnificent Art Nouveau piano lamp made by Berliner Porzellan Manufaktur, H. Schomburg & Sohne. The initials for that company are on the bottom (see photo). The porcelain base has a hand painted alpine scene with an elk on one side and a mountain on the other. The sides have a wonderful painted Art Nouveau floral design with iridescent greens and purples with different shades of gilt. This china base supports an ornate goose neck arched gilt bronze top. Twenty five amber iridescent prisms hang off the top ring. This is one of the most stunning lamps I have ever offered for sale! Circa: 1900. Dimensions: 28″ H x 13″ D x 8″ W. Condition: The paint, gilt and china are in remarkably good original condition. One of the prisms has a small chip at the top where the wire connects. Price: $7250.
