Excellent natural finish round Victorian wicker stand. It has the red “Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company, Chicago, IL No 6385″ label on the base and an oval metal “Heywood Wakefield” tag on the side (see photos). This same stand is shown on page 88 in the Heywood Brothers and Wakefield Company Classic Wicker Furniture The complete 1898-1899 Illustrated Catalog by Richard Sanders. It has a woven top and a skirt made of alternating vertical beehives and sticks. The tops of the legs have a birdcage design with original brass caps on the feet. The bottom shelf is also woven. There are not many lovely Victorian wicker stands left is such pristine original condition! I purchased this piece from a sophisticated collector in Michigan. Circa: 189o’s. Dimensions: 24.5″ H x 22″ Diameter of top. Condition: Excellent original condition with the original rich brown patina. Price: $1250
