Six piece Sterling silver tea set. It includes a teapot, large bowl and two sugars and creamers. Each piece has extensive floral repousse work. The bottoms are stamped “sterling” with a monogram and, although I could find no makers marks, they appear to be made in the style of S. Kirk, Baltimore, MD. This is a very attractive set with a very different configuration of pieces. The large bowl is especially nice! Entire set weights 42 troy ounces. Circa: 1890. Dimensions: Bowl 9″ Diameter. Teapot 4.5″ H. Condition: It has some tarnish and would look beautiful with some polishing. The insides of the creamers and bowl retain an attractive original gold wash. There are some small dents in the bottom of the bowl and all of the bottoms show light scratches (normal wear). The teapot is missing one pin in the handle (see photo) and the lid has a slight lift. Both of these issues could be easily addressed by a jeweler. Price: $3250 for all six pieces!
