Early 20th century mahogany vanity with matching chair. Both pieces feature a heart shaped beveled mirror. The mirror on the vanity is on a scissors mechanism (dated Jan 4 1904) (see photo) that allows it to fold in and out or angle from one side to another. The mirror on the chair allows the user to see the back of her head while sitting. The round seat on the chair swivels like a piano stool. The back of the chair and legs are laminated. The top of the vanity has a shaped front and a swing out door on each side and middle pull out drawer. These all have the original dainty brass pulls. A label on the underside is from the Rockford Frame and Fixture Co. Rockford, Ill. (see photo). In the last 40+ years in business this is only the third one of these I have seen. This one I am able to offer a very attractive price. This is such a unique and creative design and the perfect gift for your wife/girlfriend or YOU! Circa: 1910. Dimensions: Chair 37″ H 16″ Diameter of seat. Vanity 57.5″ x 35″ x 19″. Condition: Refinished by previous owner. There are some minor nicks in the finish since it was redone. The chair base has been re glued but is structurally sound. The two beveled mirrors are in fabulous original condition. Brass parts are polished. Price: $2750 for both pieces
