Super early Victorian jug with a wonderful three dimensional motif featuring putti, grapes and leaves. The design even extends to the handle. The interior of the jug is glazed. The previous owner sent this piece to the Bennington Museum for information and there is a note where they responded that this piece was made by Minton between 1830-1850. This is verified in Encyclopedia of British Pottery & Porcelain Marks by Geoffrey A. Godden. A great piece from the period with a fabulous motif! Circa: 1830-1850. Dimensions: 8″ H x 8″ W.
