Rare Victorian wicker etagere in natural finish. It is pictured as “#6443 Fancy Cabinet” on page 100 of “Heywood Brothers Wakefield Company Classic Wicker Furniture the Complete 1898-1899 Illustrated Catalog”. This piece is profusely adorned with curlicues, birdcages around the vertical legs and beehives on sticks. It has four thick solid oak shelves and brass caps on the feet. It has a “Wakefield Rattan Company” paper label under the bottom shelf (see photo). Over the years I have bought and sold hundreds of pieces of Victorian wicker. This is the first time I have offered this piece. It is an attractive and highly collectible piece of Victorian natural finish wicker! Circa: Late 1800′s. Dimensions: 46″H x 26.5″W x 13″D. Condition: Great original finish with rich patina. There is one curlicue missing on the bottom of the right side (see photo). Some of the wrapping is gone in a few places which is very typical for a pieces of this vintage. Price: $3250
