Pitcher set, used for beverages; lemonade, juice or water, antique American glass, Victorian hand painted with enamel paints and gold leaf accenting. Circa 1895 - 1900. 10" tall pitcher is clear molded glass with draped design in the glass, has applied handle, ruffle rim, frosted glass at the throat and also at elevated base. White enamel dot design hand painted atop frosted. Body of the pitcher is bulbous with a taped hand painted with flowers. Gold leafed leaves have some gold loss. No chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. There was something in the mold of one tumbler and there is fine spider web design on the side of one glass. NOT a break or crack but rather a firing imperfection. Tumblers are ribbed, clear glass, with hand painted flower and buds done in enamel paints. Glasses are tapered cylindrical 4" tall, the gold leaf ring at the rim is faintly present on the glasses.
