This table lamp has 60" silk cord with original bakelite plug. It has been rewired. The base is marked either 93 or 88, it is hard to read. Most likely a style or mold number. Cast metal base is 5 3/8" square, with embossed and high relief acanthus leaf decoration, shaped edge base and tapered center pillar with connecting flowers and leaves Art Nouveau design. Shade is secured to light fixture via brass acorn finial fitted to brass painted metal cap. Cap is 2 1/4" diameter with flange at the base and is 5/8" high. Light has single push light socket. The frosted glass shade, is molded, "Blow out" style, 5" tall, 6 1/2" at the rim, 7 1/2" at the blow out portion. Interior of the shade is satin glass. The frosted shade has six panels with flat ribs. There are hand painted flowers in each panel. Either lit or not the lamp is beautiful. Base is original polychrome yellow with minor chips of paint loss. Lamp is American circa 1908- 1916. No chips, cracks or breaks to shade. No repairs to lamp or shade. See photos.
