TANGO Panetelas advertising cigar tin, Over 100 Cigar and Tobacco Tins to choose from, this tin originally held 50 cigars that sold 3 cigars for 5 cents. Made in Pennsylvania at Factory #1945 in the 9th District State of Pennsylvania. Circa 1910, tin is 6" tall, 4 1/2" diameter. The title and design were owned by Joseph Schwartz, Cleveland, Ohio. Both sides of the tin are marked, Schwartz was most likely the tin lithographer. The top has factory manufactured punched holes and partial tax stamp. Tin is in excellent condition for its age, 100 years. It has been cleaned and waxed. The colors are bright and clear, no fading. There are some very minor nicks in the paint, however NO significant paint loss, a few small dents at the base. This is only the second TANGO cigar tin I have had in 35 years of collecting, very difficult tin to find verging on Rare. See photos.
