SOLD See other boxes we have for sale Argo Starch Wood Advertising Box, 23" by 14" wide, 9" tall, graphics on two sides, circa 1890. In the 1880's Carl Morton of the Morton Salt Company fame, acquired a starch manufacturing company. At that time the customer price lists were printed in alpha order. Wanting to be at the top of the list he named the company Argo. In 1899 it became part of the United Starch Co. In 1992 it celebrated it's 100th anniversary.
