August Storck Advertising Candy Tin, sweets producer in business for 110 years, currently still in business. This tin is the older version. This unique shaped tin with lift off lid that fits tight as it should, is in near mint condition, Tin was cleaned and waxed, NO RUST, NO DENTS. Lithograph decoration and gold printed borders still retain bright coloring. Circa 1920 to 1930. Tin would have originally contained fruit flavored liquid center candies, made in Germany. This one pound size tin is 4 1/2" by 4 1/2", 4" tall not including lid knob. Each side of the tin illustrates when you might enjoy taking a candy break, Pair of Dice on the lid, Sides show a chest set, Playing Cards and a Coffee Cup, excellent graphics. Original printed paper label on the bottom lists ingredients, and general company information. See photos.
