Old Mr. Boston liquor bottle, NO Damage, clear molded glass bottle, portrait of trademark Mr. Boston on the front, full quart size, 11 1/4" tall, original metal twist off cap, with Old Mr. Boston logo. Bottle is embossed on four sides, marked on the bottom Design pat. Applied for 54-5. Unusual as it may seem, this company started as a candy factor. The Ben Burk Candy Company started in 1927 making nonalcoholic cordials during Prohibition. After Repeal they obtain a permit and license for distilled spirits. They built a still and began making gin. Old Mr. Boston was one of the first brand names. Bottle is clean inside and out, it has been in storage and is NOT from a dig or dump site. See last photos for some but not all of the bottles listed. See the Mr. Boston Display Cabinet we have listed.
These old bottles are heavy glass, with proper packing they weigh between 2 and 3 pounds each.
