SOLD, Finger lamp, American antique glass 1870 Kerosene Lamp. Clear molded glass lamp is 3 7/8" diameter at the base, pedestal base is 5", has molded glass ringed finger handle. The kerosene glass bowl container has oil guard safety rim and two mold seams in the glass. Marked on the underside of the base embossed in the glass is Trademark Oil Guard Lamp Sep. 20 1870. Condition: NO damage to glass, chimney, wick, or burner. The chimney, font and base glass is clean and clear, no sick glass. The lamp features a raised annular drip depression surrounding the collar to prevent frequent overflow of kerosene. Similar in style and manufacture of Lomax Lamps

The overall height of the finger lamp is 15 1/2" to the top of the clear glass chimney, base and font are 4 3/4"" to brass ring at the neck

Features of the lamp are burner with all brass fitting, four arms to support chimney single wick burner, knob on riser works when turned, brass collar, Queen Anne No. 1 wick. The chimney is clear glass, has NO damage, and is 10" tall. See photos.
