Lamp, Antique Gone with the Wind Table Lamp, 23" overall height, globe is 9 1/2" tall, 9 1/2" around. Has a 10" clean, glass chimney that is scratch free. One of 35 Antique Lamps to choose from. Fitted with a light weight milk glass shade, NO damage, chips or roughness along the rims, decorated with decalcomania yellow roses. Heavy ornate cast metal base, with four scrolled feet it is 6" square, elevated 2 1/2" high where it is attached to 1" polished brass ring. Base retains faint residue of original gold gilting. The opalware urn shaped base has stencil and decalcomania thistle flowers decoration on both the front and the back. Colors are mauve and rose. Circa 1910
Lamp was properly converted to electrical, it no has inline switch, it should be rewired. The original burner, chimney and shade holder are still intact. The brass gas regulation knob is marked Made in US of America. The brass font is inside of the bottom of the spherical base. A brass embossed cap, with oval medallions surrounded by beading covers the top. There is one small dent on the backside. A colored cork is also in place instead of brass cap. Excellent condition, burner is intact after conversion, shade holder has square diaper cutout design and prongs in rings for chimney. See photos. It will be shipped in two boxes via US Mail.
