Early Shot Gun Cleaning Rod, solid birch with brass fittings, signed BGI Co. Pat. Feb 9 1892. This large diameter cleaning rod was designed to run a patch down the bore of a single or double barrel shot gun. Assembled length of the rod is 36". All male and female brass connectors are polished and lacquered. Good original color and finish on the Birch wood. No damage. It could still be used. A wonderful item for the gun, rifle or fire arm collector. All sections screw together with fine machine threads. See photos.
