Fabulous label and excellent gold leaf imprinted on needle package. Circa mid 1920's. It was then that Mr. Lloyd Spud Hughes of Mingo Junction, Ohio introduced Americans to menthol cool smoking. He patented the process and helped form the SPUD Cigarette Corp. of Wheeling, West Virginia. This is a rare item in mint condition for the Sewing or Advertising Tobacco Collector. See photos.
