Cream and sugar set matching pattern Geisha porcelain, hand painted enhancements on white background with Tokai red stencil design. Notice that the painting is NOT exacting and sometimes goes outside of the "lines", this is the telltale sign of old Geisha and not the modern reproductions which are painted within the lines. Scene surrounds the body of the cream and sugar. The scene depicts three Geisha lakeside, two are holding fans, mountain in the background, lanterns hanging, thatched hut, bull rushes, a garland of flowers around the top, temple and boat; includes all the important Japanese symbolic elements. Rims, handles and edges are done in Tokai red. See photos. NO damage, chips, cracks, breaks or repairs. NO, this does not have a lithopane, which are on modern pieces.
Creamer is 3 1/4" tall measured at the spout.
Sugar has double handles, with lift off top, 4" tall to the top of the lid knob.
