EEGEE Doll, 15" tall, high heel foot with detailed toes and fingers, made by the Goldberger Doll Mfg. Co, Inc. of Brooklyn, New York. High quality vinyl body, blue sleep eyes, brush lashes painted beneath the eyes, painted brows, soft vinyl head with good quality root auburn hair in original upsweep fashion. Doll has pierced ears with original faux pearl drop earrings. Lips are painted red and fingers are separated with detailed finger nails. Jointed at the neck and shoulders, with a one piece body, wired legs for bending. The doll is marked at the back of the neck 1 1/2R EEGEE ( this is thought to be the earlier mark used). Doll is attired in two piece wool suit, sewn from patterns designed for the Revlon doll. She is wearing original nylon hose, NO holes and snag free. Elastic on high heels is stretched. Circa 1957, this Little Debutante doll was the competitor like doll for Ideal Miss Revlon. Included are outfits shown in photos. See photo. (INV. 8085)
