Antique ring, Victorian amethyst and pearl flower cluster, size 9, circa (1870 - 1901), six violet purple amethyst surround the center pearl. Stones are open back and prong set, uniform in color. No odd or replaced stones. The pearl is bezel set and closed back. It has great color and sheen. The flower motif was very popular during the Victorian Romantic Period. The flower cluster ring head is 3/8" round. The sides (shoulder of the ring) are an engraved with art nouveau flower. See photos. The setting is 9 carat gold. The band was resized some time ago. This is a very beautiful ring "on finger" and the stones all sparkle. Amethyst is the Birthstone for February and also the gemstone for the 6th anniversary of marriage. See photos.
