Early advertising talcum powder tin for Imperial Violet Talc Powder, made by Imperial Talc Co., of New York. In business circa 1907-1913. Lithographed tin container is marked Manhattan Can Co. NY. Shoulder and top are aged, exterior has a some paint nicks, a wear spot by flower petal. 4 1/8” tall, oval base is 2 ½” by 1 ¼”. Considering age it shows very well, and still has contents.
