Banjo wall Clock by the Gilbert Clock Co., Winsted, Conn., founded in 1807. Please read the full description and view all of the photos. The clock has original country farm scene with cows, original brass side arms, 5” diameter dial, convex crystal and brass bezel. Walnut case has nice old finish, there is some wear to the finish on the top by the original cast brass eagle. The old 30 hour back wind, balance wheel movement was beyond repair. It is now fitted with a new quartz battery movement, Made in the USA. Timekeeping is accurate to with a few seconds a month. This is a very nice affordable decorative clock, 24” long, 8 1/2” wide, 3 1/2” deep. See photos.
