Chikaramachi porcelain lusterware condiment set, complete with handled tray, and toothpick holder. No pieces missing. Set is tan luster with hand painted stylized flowers on two sides. At the top of each piece in the set is a 1/8" diaper. Tray has open loop handles on either side. Tray is 3 1/2" by 3 5/8", 1/2" deep. Based on the hand painted design on each piece they only fit in the tray a specific way to show properly. Toothpick holder is 1" wide, 1 5/8" tall and length with rounded corners, salt and pepper are 1 3/8" square, with molded knob tops, 2 3/8" tall. Originally they were gilted one retains evidence, the other is now white. Mustard has gold leaf lid knob, top has cut out for mustard spoon, set has original white porcelain spoon, mustard container is 1 7/8" by 1 5/8", 2 7/8" tall to top of knob. Chikaramachi backstamp in black is wreath and crown and marked hand painted. Chikaramachi was a porcelain painting co-op under contract to Noritake in 1928. NO chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
