Wet Paint, framed Saturday Evening Post cover, April 12.1930. Glass covered oak wood frame is 12” by 15”, ready to hang. Full color Norman Rockwell print is 10” by 13” mounted on blue matte. There is a real story behind this cover. While walking in the fields around a home where he was staying, Norman came upon a young neighbor painting. Upon approaching her, she packed up and hastily left. She was shy, lacking confidence, she did not want him to see her work. This cover is considered a painting within a painting. Years later he still remembered her fleeing. His portrayal was this cover of a budding artist heading for cover from the rain. No damage, excellent color, MINT. We will ship US Priority Mail Regional B service for best shipping rate. Insured Shipping will be combined on several orders whenever possible. We were fortunate to acquire hundreds of prints at Auction from a print and frame shop that closed. These are NOT Computer enhanced copies or fakes. Most all are 50 to 100 years old. All the prints were either Framed or mounted and shrink wrapped. All the mounting materials were acid free products. All the wood frames, Glass and prints are damage free. I seriously doubt that you could have a print matted and framed for under $100. Just to have a print Matted, mounted on foam board then shrink wrapped is a minimum of $50.
