Stand, Antique table, Marble Top American Victorian stand, 28 3/8" tall, white veined marble with very light yellow hues, top measures 17 7/8" by 14" with 1/2" overhang on mahogany stained wood base. Marble is 1/2" thick, nice original polish. Edges of the marble are beveled. The four turned legs of the stand are attached to a skirted frame, 16 1/2" by 12 1/2" upon which the marble sits. Stand has original finish. The four arched legs are joined with a bottom shelf. Shelf has a wear mark where something was sitting. Stand is in original condition, a few scrapes, scuffs, nothing that couldn't be colored in if you want perfect. The stance of the stand at the base is 19" across and 15" deep. Stand is from a hotel in Maine that closed at the turn of the century. See photo.
