Salt and pepper set, shakers were made by Mt. Washington Co., New Bedford, Ma, circa 1889 - 1897. This style of shaker was first patented in 1889. This design is called "egg flat end." Mold blown, white opaque satin glass. Hand decorated with enamel paints, individualized floral decorations exhibiting artist freedom. Similar but not identical. Shakers are 2 1/8" tall. There is the expected roughness on the rims which occurs when they were taken out of the mold. Old original tops in excellent condition. No dings or dents. No damage to the glass. One top is on tight and I have not attempted to twist it off. Set is in Excellent condition. See photos. To purchase with credit cards please use PAYPAL. It is safe, secure, and simple to use.
