Standard Electric Time Co., Springfield, Massachusetts slave clock. Please read the full description and view all of the photos as they are part of the description. The walnut wood frame retains the original finish, that was cleaned and waxed, it is structurally sound and damage free, the original finish is spectacular. Case is 14 ¾” diameter with an 11” original Roman Numeral Dial. The dial was sealed with 4 coats of clear to protect the original integrity. This was done due to the enamel paint crazing with a few very small paint flecks that were lost that can be seen in the photo if you look hard. In the clocks original state it was incapable of running and keeping time. It could only operate when a master clock sent out an electrical impulse every minute. The clock is now fitted with a new high torque quartz movement that is accurate to within a few seconds a month. Runs approximately 1 year on a single battery. Note the correct size hands. See the last photo for some but not all of our Slave Clocks.
