Inlaid French Mantel , desk or table clock. Please read the full description and view all of the photos, they are part of the description. Circa 1900, clock is 10 ¾” long, 6 ¼” tall, 3 ¼” deep, original porcelain dial 3 ¼” diameter and damage free. Clock has original beveled glass crystal, no scratches, 4 original brass bun feet, original brass dust cover. All brass was polished and sealed. No damage or repair to any of the inlay. The honey walnut case retains the old finish. This spectacular looking clock has been cleaned and waxed. There are a few minor dings in the top back of the case. The original French movement with a cylinder escapement had both balance staff pivots broken. Not repairable I have installed a new micro quartz movement. Timekeeping is accurate to within a few seconds a month. This is a very dependable clock and other than replacing the battery once a year is maintenance free. See photos.
