Advertising sign for HEINEKEN BEER, 7” tall by 10 across the front, 3 ¼” deep, in working condition it does light up. This promotional sign/light was designed to sit on a bar top or top of a cash register. Electrical cord is original and is extra long. The green portion of the sign is backlit with dimensional white letters. The actual sign is metal, 9”by 4 ¾”, covered by molded clear plastic front with beveled edges. Designed to facilitate easy removal of the sign from the light housing for cleaning. The electrical cord has original toggle switch. The Heineken sign is elevated on housing above the light enclosure. It is gold finished, some metal some bakelite. See photos they are part of the description. There is some aging to the casing. There were several different versions of this Heineken beer promotional light made. This is one of the earlier ones. Made by Phase Four Productions NY. On the back of light housing is sticker which reads “United Brothers of Carpenters and Joiners of America” and their trademark.
Brass finish case for light is vented, imprinted with “ Exclusive US Importers van Munching & Co., Inc., N.Y., N.Y. Designed and Manufactured for Phase Four Productions, New York, N.Y. “
Base is designed so that it can be secured to counter/bar top. It still has tape strips, provided for securing advertising sign fixture to surface. Underside has printed Operating Instructions. See photos they are included as part of the description.
