Peanut Butter tin, advertising Old Reliable brand, made by Old Reliable Peanut Co., of Suffolk, Virginia, originated prior to 1912. Lithographed tin or pail has original wire handle or bale, no lid, is empty but would have originally contained 1 pound of peanut butter. Container was made by CANCO, marked on the bottom, they started making tins in 1912. See photos, gold finish is aged and shows wear. Photos are part of the description. Container is 3 1/4" tall, 3 3/4" diameter at the top.
