Cast metal savings bank, one of 10 different car banks, this one is a 1930 Dusenberg automobile made by Banthrico, Chicago USA. 7” long, 2 ½” wide, 2 ½” tall, NO Damage, front and rear license plates engraved “1930”, underside running board is imprinted “Dusenberg”. Printed on the auto roof is “First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Dayton, Ohio 1979.” Excellent original finish.

These coin-banks were available as gifts to bank customers to encourage savings. There is a coin slot in the bottom to put their spare change. We are selling individually an automotive collection of different cars acquired through the 1970’s from First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Dayton, Ohio.
The autos were hand-cast using white metal (95 percent zinc, five percent aluminum and traces of lead, brass and copper. Molds were poured and any imperfections were corrected. The car banks were done in bronzed tone finish.
