Marked on the underside is Banthrico Inc. Chicago USA the promotional bank maker. Bottoms are metal plate with four screws attaching to body of the vehicle. Some have copyright date when particular car model was originally put into production by Banthrico. Easy access to savings is via lift off trap “door”. All wheels/tires move freely, cars will roll. Start collecting cars and saving!

These coin-banks were available as gifts to bank customers to encourage savings. There is a coin slot in the bottom to put their spare change. We are selling individually an automotive collection of different cars acquired through the 1970’s from First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Dayton, Ohio.
The autos were hand-cast using white metal (95 percent zinc, five percent aluminum and traces of lead, brass and copper. Molds were poured and any imperfections were corrected. The car banks were done in bronzed tone finish.
