Salt and pepper set, antique American glass shakers, made by Consolidated Glass Co., circa 1896 - 1910, squatty leaf overlapping pattern, consisting of seven rows of sharply defined leaves, mold blown, there is the normal roughness along the top rim, this occurred when they were broken away from the mold. Two sets available. One with old tops and second has Starline Stainless.
1. Blue opaque glass, one is Satin finish and other is polished, brass top has split in threading and dings in top, metal top has normal wear for age, NO damage to glass, no chips, cracks, to the shakers. Height is 1 7/8” tall, body diameter is 2”.
2. Blue opaque glass, polished finish, matching set, NO damage to glass. Guaranteed old. Lechner classifies these as very scarce. See photos, all sides are shown. Also have a set in pink. (inv.284)
