Advertising coffee tin, The Testers Coffee by Paul de Lima's, Syracuse, New York. Excellent condition, NO rust, NO dents. Tin has been cleaned and waxed. The colors are bright, NO fading. The gold framing is perfect. Coffee tin has original twist off lid, it is clean inside and out. The importance of collecting regional advertising tin is the fact that the quantities made were only a fraction in numbers compared to the National brands, made in the millions. This company was incorporated in 1916 and it’s core customer base was hotels, businesses and restaurants. This tin shows only minor wear; a few scratches, some minor oxidation on the lid. Circa 1925-1930. Tin is 6” tall, 4 3/8” diameter. Now empty it would have contained one pound of coffee. See photos, this is just one of many coffee tins we are selling.
