SOLD We Have More Creels Leather Bound French Weave Fly Fishing Creel
SOLD, Early leather bound fly fishing creel, Please read the full description, hand woven French weave, also referred to as a tight weave. Creel has original leather shoulder strap. NO damage to the weave, leather or stitching. Like all of our creels it does not have a fishy smell. The bottom is marked #13 . Made in Japan circa 1920-1930. The previous owner stated it was purchased at Orvis by his father who was a member of the Hardwick Vermont Rod and Gun Club. Metal button is included. Creel is 13” long, 4 1/2” wide and 8” tall. For this reason the vast majority of creels have severe damage and crumble when handled. This is not the case with creels that we sell.
