Frontenac Brand Peanut Butter advertising tin or pail, packed for Gannon Grocery Co. of Marquette, Michigan. 12 ounce net weight tin is 3 1/2” tall, 2 7/8” diameter, has original wire bale handle, embossed lid with instructions how “to Remove This Cover”. When packaged a waxed paper seal cover the contents. Excellent lithographed tin, retains bright gold and colors. Tin container was made by and marked AC CO 54A (Albert Fischer company Hamilton, Ohio). The Frontenac patent was applied for in 1921. Excellent condition, NO Rust, NO Dents.
