Emerson advertising cigar tin, Please read the full description, pocket size 5” by 3 1/2” by 1 1/2”, pocket pack has lithograph of the poet Emerson on the lid. Tin would have originally contained 10 MILD cigars, made by Frank P. Lewis Cigar Co. at Factory 439 District of Illinois, circa 1920’s. You just don't find them this good anymore, Outstanding graphics on the lid, short scratch 3/8”on arm lady on the left. Very clean inside and out, NO rust, NO dents, normal wear to the rounded corners. Tin has been cleaned and waxed.

These small pocket size advertising cigar boxes did not have a strong survival rate and were considered disposable. Unlike the tin pockets one which had a secondary use for storing household and garage items. It is rare to find any of the cardboard pocket cigar boxes in this good condition.
