Bernard Schwartz was born in Poland in 1872. At the age of 14, he emigrated to Canada and began work making cigars. Four years later, he moved to Detroit. In 1895, Schwartz opened his own cigar manufacturing firm, which was immediately a success, ultimately employing over 200 people. Independent until they merged in 1929. Cigars were made at made at Factory No. 670, 1st District of Michigan. Pocket tin originally held 10 Mild Perfecto Finos. NO rust, NO dents, tins is in very clean condition inside and out.
