Brass bucket or pail, 7" tall with rolled rim, riveted pig tail handle, 12 1/2" tall with handle extended, 10 3/4" diameter, at the top, 7 5/8" diameter at the bottom, 1" up from the base is indentation around the entire base. It appears that it was designed to fit or sit in a ring or stationary inset across the fire. Old repair shown in photo. NO holes in the bottom. Bottom is marked with Hiram Washington Haydens patents.
