1. Blue Ointment in original box, by McKessons & Robbins a 3 ounce collapsible metal tube, with bakelite top embossed McKessons, imprint around metal neck reads" Save This Tube for Victory". Poison symbol is on box and tube. Cardboard box is 3 3/8" long, 3/4" square, made by Ace Carton Corp., circa 1954.
2. Shrink wrapped box and with contents of Blue Ointment. Markings on the box read, No. 12 Made in USA by H. K. Mulford Co. Philadelphia, USA. Box is 3 1/2" long, 3/8" by 3/4". See photos.
Mercurial ointment was first introduced in the early 1900’s and was marketed well into the 1950’s. These items are for display only not for use or consumption.
