Four pharmacy or drugstore bottles,Please read the full description, two are amber, two are clear glass, NO damage, NO chips, all have tops and paper labels.
1. Amber apothecary small shelfware jar, 4 5/8" tall, 1 3/4" diameter, cork stopper, molded glass, printed label on the front from A. E. Phillips Pharmacist Sinclairville NY. Poison and skull with cross bones upper left corner, would have contained Chloroform Liniment, Antidote instructions also printed on the front.
2. Amber Eli Lilly & Company bottle, 5 1/4" tall, twist off Bakelite top, bottle is for display only not for use or consumption. Label reads 100 Tablets No. 771 Hexamethlenamine, a treatment for urinary tract infections.
3. Porters Prescription Porter Drug Co. Concord N.C. Sweet Oil , intended for medicinal use. 6 1/4" tall, rectangular 2 1/4" by 1 1/2" base, embossed scrolling on the shoulders on the front and back of the bottle. Clearly marked Illinois on the bottom. Metal twist off cap.
4. S-X Brand NF Witch Hazel bottle, clear, clean glass, 6" tall, wide mouth has metal twist off cap. Bottom is embossed 7 1/2. Printed label on the front, 3 1/8" by 2" faintly features silhouettes of witch and cauldron. Due to the natural resource of the witch hazel plant in the Essex area of Connecticut it was distilled here.
