Round copper slave clock, Please read the full description, the wall clock made by the Standard Electric Time Co., of Springfield, Mass. A functional and very accurate timekeeper. Clock is 14 1/4" diameter, 2" deep with a 11 1/2" diameter mint condition dial. The Copper and Brass Slave clocks are fairly rare, most were Alloy for the industrial factories and schools. This clock could never keep time on its own and required a large 6 foot master electric wall clock to run this and other clocks in the circuit. Therefore this is why it is called a Slave clock and NOT because it was owned by a Slave. The copper case had an anodized finish that was buffed down to the copper, then sealed to prevent tarnishing. This clock is fitted with a NEW high torque quartz battery operated movement. The clock is accurate within a few seconds a month. Nice old glass over the dial. It is clean and chip free. The top of the case has a slight dented, where it is located it is not very noticeable as you can see from the photos, other than that the clock is MINT. See photos. The clock is heavy approximately 10 pounds with packing. To purchase with MC or VISA please call Drury House Antiques or use PAYPAL
