Original Unused, new old stock (NOS), metal Salem cigarette advertising sign featuring an African American couple. Please read the full description and view all 8 photos they are part of the description. Sign is marked “1985(4), R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Co." and “PTD in USA, 1975 82-N-B". Introduced as part of an ad campaign to attract African American smokers. True or not, or even politically correct studies were done that supposedly determined menthol cigarettes had more appeal to this group of consumers. This 31 year old sign is in near mint condition, NO rust, NO dents, excellent graphics and colors. This target direct marketing sign is 21 1/2" by 17 1/2" by 1/2" has pressed frame effect. It has been cleaned and waxed. See photos. Exceptional condition.
