Savings bank, cast metal, made by Banthrico, the Minute Man model. From two different locations, Vermont and New Hampshire. Being sold individually for $19 each. Bank stands 5 3/4" tall, base is 5 1/8" by 2 3/8", excellent condition, original polished patina, refined detailing, with original coin trap on the bottom marked twice Banthrico Inc. Chicago USA, C 1974 Banthrico Chicago. Since 1930 most banks were clearly incised with the Banthrico name in the base and/or trap door of the bank until the company was sold to Toystalgia in 1985.
