Drugstore or Pharmacy Nasal Solution bottle, molded amber glass with screw off bakelite top. Drilitol Nasal Solution printed on front of bottle, empty, no contents. Item is for display only. 3" tall, 1 5/8" diameter bottle was manufactured by Owens Glass Co. NO damage to glass or top. Printing is crisp and clear. Circa 1955, it was developed and designed for use as a nasal douche. The ingredients/solution was delivered in bulk to a packer. Initially it had problems because it did not have labels, no names or place of business, manufacturer, packer or accurate statement of quality of the products, also lacking instructions for use. Being in violation of the prescription labeling required by the Food and Drug Act it was removed from the market.
