Brass kettle or pot, circa 1870, hand hammered, small apple butter pot, 4 7/8" tall, 7 ½" diameter tapers to 5 3/8" at the bottom. No makers name this forged pail has flat bottom NO holes, overlapping sides seams, and fitted bottom, top rim is rolled over heavy gauge wire that loops at the side to which the wire bale handle loops. Normal wear for its aged. Shows well see photos all sides and bottom are shown. Just one of many we currently have available for purchase, all different sizes.
