Offering for your collection is this lovely Victorian / Edwardian era sterling silver chatelaine. Hallmarked sterling and tested to ensure the metals purity. The skirt plaque has a wonderful pierced filigree design of two roaring dragons. It measures just under 2 inches long by 1/2 an inch at its widest point. Skirt pocket hook measures 2 6/8 inches by 5/8 of an inch. Two of the sterling chains measure 4 inches long. The center chain measures 5 inches. Links have a width of just over 2/8 of an inch. The largest sterling tool measures 3 6/8 inches by 3/8 of an inch. It is surrounded in a sweet blue enamel forget-me-not flower motif. Front is engraved with the name Margeret. Back has the date Jan 12, 97. The smaller button hook is made of silver and dates from the late Georgian / early Victorian era. It measures 1 7/8 inches long by 2/8 inches at its widest. The last one which is plated measures 2 2/8 inches long. Has the company name of Mandel Bros. The combined total weight of items is 53 grams.
