Up for adoption, we have a beautiful E.I. Horsman Jane Doll that was made in the late 1920’s, that is not marked but is a Horsman doll. She comes in her original 3-piece costume that is in overall excellent vintage condition. The only thing that needs attention is the elastic in the sleeves have lost their give and could use a couple of stitches to make them look new again. Jane is 17” tall and has excellent coloring on her face and no crazing that I could find. Because of her age her composition she is not perfect and does show signs of wear on her molded blonde head - I took close-ups of the discoloration and there are very slight cracks in one spot but nothing that will take away from how adorable she is. She has the typical paint loss around her joints (head, arms, and leg sockets). She has some repainting on her right arm that I only noticed in the images but again nothing that will take away from her. She has one area on her upper thigh that as about ½ crack in her composition but again nothing too bad and that will become a problem in the future. She has lovely sleep blue tin eyes that work properly. Jane has all of per painted features, eyelashes, eyebrows and a very downturned pouty mouth. She even still retains her original Horsman Doll Tag that is attached to the front of her dress. Jane is tightly strung and can stand and hold poses on her own. She will come with everything that you see her pictured in - 3 piece costume and replaced patent leather shoes and white socks. These little Jane dolls are getting harder and harder to find in this condition which I would say she’s in excellent vintage condition. Please examine her images and let me know if you have any questions about her. Thank you for looking and stopping by!
