Here is a vintage Weiss rhinestone necklace that measures 15 1/2 inches long, Stones are prong set and the center setting is an oval stone that is surrounded by smaller rhinestones. Center setting is 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. On each side of the center setting are smaller drop rhinestones. Necklace is marked Weiss on the backside. The screw back earrings are not marked but are stamped 1/20 of 12K gold filled. They were with the necklace in a box when I purchased it and I am including them. Good condition with no stones missing. Albert Weiss started his company in 1943 in New York. He created beautiful jewelry of excellent quality and it is said that his jewelry was comparable to Eisenberg and Bogoff. Weiss retired in 1967 and the business eventually closed in 1971. Lovely vintage set.
